Sadly, Cineworld London - Shaftesbury Avenue West-End will be closing permanently on Sunday, 21 September 2014. 

Thank you for your custom and support over the years, your nearest Cineworld cinema will now be Cineworld London - Haymarket.

Why are you closing?
We are closing in order to undertake much needed maintenance and to complete a full refurbishment before reopening as a Picturehouse cinema

Where else can I go?
Cineworld Haymarket will still be open and is just a short distance from Cineworld Shaftesbury Avenue, the other two West End Cineworld cinemas at Fulham Road and Chelsea are also both open. In addition to the West End Cineworld cinemas, we also have a further 11 cinemas within the M25

Will I be able to use my Unlimited Card after the refurbishment?
Once opened Picturehouse Central will be accepting West End Unlimited Cards. Non West-End members can also enjoy Picturehouse Central for an additional fee of £2.00. Unlimited Cards will only be accepted for film tickets and not event cinema, premium priced tickets and Screen Arts

How long will the refurbishment take?

Will my discount on snacks still apply?
Unlimited members will not be able to use their discount on snacks at Picturehouse Central
