The incredible true story of how top US metal band Lamb of God's career was nearly derailed by a manslaughter trial.
When filmmaker Don Argott set out to make a documentary about Lamb of God, he was mainly interested in how they'd become so popular without mainstream media coverage. The metal band from Richmond, Virginia, had been nominated for a Grammy and had the number two album in the US - sandwiched between Taylor Swift and the Jonas Brothers! Argott followed their 2012 world tour, meeting fans ranging from a Colombian cabbie with a troubled family history to an Indian girl inspired to rebel against restrictive social norms. But events took a dramatic turn when singer Randy Blythe was arrested in the Czech Republic. He was then charged with the manslaughter of a stage invading fan at a gig two years earlier. This screening of the film includes an exclusive Q&A with Lamb of God.
